John Woods is a professional dog trainer, graduate in animal welfare & behavior and editor in chief for All Things Dogs.
John Woods is a dog lover, shelter volunteer worker and professional dog trainer. He is very fortunate to volunteer for some of the nation’s largest dog shelters working to rehabilitate, train and socialize dogs ready for their new families.
He first fell in love with dogs volunteering at a shelter over 15 years ago, since then he has gone on to study animal welfare & behavior and is the editor in chief for All Things Dogs. He also serves as their dog behavioural consultant.
John is parent to Nala, a yellow working Labrador, and loves to teach and educate the next generation of dog parents. To date, more than 1 million people have read John’s work on dog behaviour, body language and training.
