Dr. Duffy Jones is a native of the Atlanta area.  He attended the University of Notre Dame where he received a Bachelor of Science degree and later the Tufts University of Veterinary Medicine in Massachusetts, from which he received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1999.  After that, Dr. Jones completed a one-year rotating internship in emergency medicine, internal medicine, and surgery at Georgia Veterinary Specialists.  He worked for 5 years as a staff veterinarian in two hospitals, Bells Ferry Veterinary Hospital and South Cherokee Veterinary Hospital, before starting his own practice, Peachtree Hills Animal Hospital, in 2004.  He currently serves as the veterinary consultant for It’s Me or the Dog episodes filmed in Atlanta.

Dr. Jones was very fortunate to marry the girl next door, Courtney.  They have been blessed with two wonderful and very active little boys.  Dawson was born in 2004 and Grady in 2005.  The Jones home is currently run by their dog Ellie, who is the princess, Sally their cat, and Hobbs the guinea pig.
