The Positively Pro Affiliate program offers pet professionals a comprehensive suite of tools, resources and information they can provide to their clients. Delivering trusted training and behavior information to overwhelmed clients via free and discounted online courses allows the professional to focus on deeper-level services while ensuring their clients’ needs are met.

Participating affiliates are eligible to provide discounted access to Positively’s industry-leading, guardian-focused learning resources while earning commission and generating additional revenue to help grow their own pet business.

As a Positively Pro Affiliate you can:

Who is eligible to become an affiliate?
Any person or business operating in the extended pet industry is eligible to become a Positively Pro Affiliate. Individuals and business entities around the world are encouraged to apply to become a Positively Pro Affiliate.

Does it cost anything to join?
No. Becoming a Positively Pro Affiliate is completely free, and in fact all affiliates are eligible to earn commission from every paid course enrolled in by anyone using their unique affiliate offer code.

How does my business earn commission?
Positively will pay up to 40% commission of the total price paid for every course enrolled in by someone using their unique affiliate offer code. Specific commission rates depend on the relationship between Positively/VSA and the affiliate.

How much commission can my business earn?
Commission rates are determined by the relationship between the affiliate and Positively and/or the Victoria Stilwell Academy. 

• Licensed VSPDT (Victoria Stilwell Positively Dog Trainers) members earn 40%
• VSA-CDT (certified graduates of the Victoria Stilwell Academy’s professional Dog Trainer Course) earn 30%
• All other affiliates earn 20%

Commissions are eligible to be earned upon the enrollment of any paid Positively course, but do not include Virtual Training Consultations, products or other services. Commissions are related only to Positively courses and not courses, products or services related to or offered by the Victoria Stilwell Academy.

What do I get when my business becomes an affiliate?
Affiliates are provided with customizable resources and tools that complement your organization’s information as well as a unique Positively offer code. 

Examples of documents provided include printable and web-ready flyers to provide clients in both hard-copy and digital formats that contain links to Positively’s free and low-cost online courses and other resources.

My business does not focus primarily on dog training services - can we still join?
Yes! The program is available to any pet industry business including veterinary, dog walking, dog sitting, dog grooming, and daycare in addition to dog trainers. The content provided by Positively focuses on dog training and behavior, serving both dog training professionals and other business types.

My business is not based in the UK or USA - can we still join?
Yes! The program is available to all pet businesses around the world.

Do I have to be a VSDPT or VSA Graduate to be an affiliate?
No. The program is available to any individual or entity whose primary business activities are with the pet industry. Commission rates differ based on whether the affiliate is a VSPDT member, a VSA Dog Trainer Course graduate, or none of the above.

I work with a shelter or rescue but am not a pet professional - can I join?
No, the Positively Pro Affiliate program is only for pet businesses. Shelter and rescue organizations whose mission and primary operations are as animal shelters or rescues are eligible to join the Positively Shelter Affiliate program instead.

What type of certification document do I need to upload?
The Positively Pro Affiliate application form requires applicants to upload proof of business registration. Examples include business organization documents, tax status notifications, etc. If we have questions about documentation submitted, we will be in touch during the application review process for additional documents or clarification.

What happens after I apply?
Upon successful submission of your application on this page, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging our receipt of your application. Our team will review all applications in the order in which they are received. Standard processing times for applications are approximately 6-8 weeks, at which time the applicant will be contacted notifying them regarding whether the organization is approved as a Positively Pro Affiliate.

Upon acceptance into the program, the organization will receive a welcome package including unique offer codes and other resources.
