In 2006 Debbie’s dogs, Widget and Gizmo were stolen. Fortunately she was able to get her dogs back but others are not so lucky. Dog theft is on the rise in the UK and other parts of the world because penalties to dissuade thieves are limited and there is no legislation for compulsory scanning. Debbie Matthews and Vets Get Scanning are working to change the status quo.
