I learned a lot being a K9 officer, most good, some not so much. Collaborating on projects with Best Friends Animal Society led me to Victoria Stilwell and becoming a VSPDT. That incredible experience and being a part of such a brilliant, compassionate trainers has fed my deep exploration of canine behaviors, the complexity of changing behavior and the best ways to achieve change.

I've been blessed to have had and continue to have incredible mentors and friends from the original group of trainers at Best Friends, the VSPDT family of outstanding animal professionals, and as a member of the Pet Professional Guild. When we know better, we do better, and the knowledge and wisdom provided by these groups allow me to do better for my clients and their dogs.

My dogs and my client's dogs are my life. I am privileged to be able to share my passion with them. We celebrate the smallest victories, and in those rare times when everything we've done is not enough, we share the tears, the grief. Every dog leaves a legacy, an education, and we have a responsibility and obligation to use that legacy and education to help the next dog live the best possible life.

MY MESSAGE IS SIMPLE:

Build TRUST with your dog by making sure they always feel safe and that you will always be their advocate;

TEACH your dog the skills they need to live a happy, healthy life with you in our crazy human world;

CHANGE unwanted, inappropriate or fearful behaviors using only pain free, fear free, force free, science based, bond building, tools and methods;
Ultimately that means that you and your dog will ENJOY the incredible partnership that both of you want and deserve.
