Hmmm maybe. Never even heard of a Basenji.

I was thinking maybe some JRT in Becky?

I thought besenji (spelling?) as well, but those aren't usually common dogs. I was trying to think of a small terrier I've seen with a similar body shape (make it's Jack or Rat) but the actual one I'm thinking of escapes me at the moment...

The area Becky came from any breed can be in a dog, if there aren't many of that breed around there will always be someone who will get one for that reason.

Donna doesn't live far from me.

The terrier I was trying to think of was Fox, but your dogs seem bigger than that - plus the staffie physical attributes are certainly dominate in the mix.

I have a basenji and I would definitely say they have Basenji blood in them. Especially the one with the white feet & white tail tip as those are dominant markings of a basenji. Also, the white chest & blaze on the face too!! If you go to the AKC website and look up the breed standard you may find some interesting coincidences.

First question due you know yet? Wisdom panel?

I see you JRT, due to the shorter muzzle length.

I acknowledge your Basenji as that was my first guess, but as we know that would be near impossible.

So I raise you beagle, because of the flag tails.

If you get a chance research a beabull (English Bulldog X beagle) and you will have familiar similarities in the top line and the head to your dogs. Your kids get their stance from the pitty, that is apparent.
