Positively Success Story: Kimba
I adopted a 3 year old German Shepherd named Kimba from the local shelter. I had never trained a dog before, so I enrolled in classes and read several books on positive training techniques.
We ventured into the sport of Canine Agility where we competed in several different agility venues with great success. We were nationally ranked one year in UKC agility. She taught me so much about how to have a positive relationship with a dog that I now teach agility classes.
I lost her at the age of 15 last May, but she'll be with me always.
