Life with Christa's barky Lab/spaniel mix is much quieter after she introduced Victoria's "Thank You" technique.
I just wanted to say THANK YOU for your videos. I have a Lab/Cocker spaniel mix who barked almost non-stop when we were home, especially anytime he heard a noise outside. He has the “big boy” lab bark and it was so bothersome. He always barked like the sky was falling!
Since watching your video of bark training for the 2 small dogs using the command "Thank You," life has been so much better. I want him to alert me when someone is at our house or when it sounds like someone is outside, but his barking before was so much more than that. I'm pretty sure he was barking if a leaf blew by.
Since using the command "Thank you," he will sometimes even just go to the door but not bark. He saves the “big boy” bark for when someone knocks and even then stops with my "Thank you," then sits and waits quietly to see who it is. I think sometimes his look is as if he thinks, it’s about time that I recognized his greatness. Lol! I appreciate your video tips and the work you are doing to help these dogs!
