Victoria Featured in the Wall Street Journal
Victoria was featured in the “Personal Journal” section of the July 9, 2013 issue of The Wall Street Journal.
In the feature entitled “Burning Question: What Signals a Dog Is About to Attack?” Victoria gave her expert advice on how to read dog behavior and what to do in the case of an attack. Victoria stated, “Most dog attacks are perfect storms of human failure that could have been prevented.” When discussing warning signs Victoria also stated, “A wagging tail doesn’t always mean that the dog is happy…Dogs will wag their tails when they are upset or over-aroused.”
In light of the recent dog attacks across the country, Victoria is working to teach people how to prevent dog attacks, which starts with a better understanding of dog behavior and teaching children appropriate behavior around dogs.
