It’s Me or the Dog Nominated for a Genesis Award.

It's Me or the Dog has been nominated for a 2011 Genesis Award in the 'Reality Series' category by the Humane Society of the United States.  The specific episode to be honored is the 'Bully Breeds' episode for "highlighting the unfortunate consequences that can occur when an uneducated dog owner acquires one of the stronger breeds, especially when they do so with the intention of breeding it."

Every year, The Genesis Awards pays tribute to the major news and entertainment media for producing outstanding works that raise public awareness of animal issues.  The awards have honored such well-known personalities as Anderson Cooper, Peter Gabriel, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi, Jane Goodall, David E. Kelley, Sir Paul McCartney, Arthur Miller and Prince as well as journalists, film and documentary writers and producers, print and broadcast news outlets in the United States.

The 25th Genesis Awards will be Saturday, March 19, 2011, at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles, CA.

That is awesome, Victoria! And very much deserved! Your compassionat and intelligent training methods should be applauded worldwide. Your show, "It's Me or The Dog" is one of my all-time favorite shows to watch. I love it that you don't let the HUMANS get away with ANYTHING that is detrimental to their dog! Keep rockin'!
