iCalmDog Now Available in Positively Store!
I'm very excited to announce that one of my all-time favorite training and behavior management tools - the iCalmDog music player - is now available in the Positively online store.
The iCalmDog is a paw-sized portable music player (think ipod for dogs with built-in speakers!) that comes with four hours of clinically tested psychoacoustic calming music for dogs. This music (by my good friends at Through A Dog's Ear) is scientifically designed to lower anxiety and stress levels in dogs, and now with the iCalmDog, you can take your dog's auditory security blanket with you wherever you go.
Whether it's a trip to the vet, the groomer, in the car, on vacation, or while visiting family members over the holidays, this fantastic tool is a must-have to ensure your dogs have every opportunity to avoid unnecessary and damaging stress levels.
Each iCalmDog unit comes with four hours of canine calming music, but the cool thing is that you can also expand your dog's library with an additional library of music and training protocols on Micro Cards which are inserted into the iCalmDog unit. Available titles include all of the Canine Noise Phobia Series (Fireworks, Thunderstorms and City Sounds) as well as two all-new tools: Aggression and Separation Anxiety.
By utilizing the much longer playing capacity (up to 16 hours of music) on the iCalmDog audio platform, I've worked with Through a Dog's Ear to develop unique training protocols to combat these two common but potentially destructive behavior issues. For example, the Separation Anxiety micro card takes advantage of the long track times to create 2, 4 and 8 hour tracks which sequentially introduce periods of quiet followed by calming music, which when paired with my included training protocols, help to alleviate the stress and anxiety felt by dogs suffering from separation distress.
The iCalmDog is a hugely beneficial tool, and I'm very excited to finally be able to offer it to the Positively community in the Positively online store.
