Hello all,

I'm Debbie from Scotland! I'm currently living in Milan, Italy for one year but originally from Edinburgh. I have two dogs, both rescues. Cali is a collie x whippet who is 9 years old, Logan is a Patterdale Terrier who is 8 years old.

I am currently an Early Years Teacher in Milan. In the past I worked with dogs (for 2.5 years) in a dog day care and training centre. My boss was a very traditional, punitive method trainer and I spent 2.5 years arguing against his methods. I then decided to leave dog care and return to early years education.

While positive reinforcement applies well to dogs, when it comes to little 2-legged monsters - I am not so sure

Haha, yes 2-legged monsters are more challenging at times Always good to get home to the dogs
