Thank you!
I certainly think so!
Technically Jack is a Springer Cocker cross, but he looks purebred Springer. Springers vary so much as well in terms of looks and size, I think they're one of the breeds with the most variability. It's also not that long relatively speaking since Springers and Cockers would come from the same litter and just be divided up according to size!
Can't believe he's turning 8 this month. It cannot possibly be eight years since I held this tiny puppy in my arms as he slept the whole way to his new home.
Still convinced that Pixie is crossed with another mystery breed, but lord knows what. She hasn't feathered as much as most Springers (just as well as she doesn't have much patience for grooming), and there's just something about her face that suggests another breed to me. She's fairly leggy, and with her long tail, curved waist and propensity to just
run and run, sometimes I think perhaps whippet.
One day, I will give one of those breed DNA tests a go, unreliable as they may be. Who knows, by the time I get around to it, they might be more accurate.
For those of you who are good at guess the breed, please suggest areas you'd need close up shots of, like paws and profile or whatever might help!
