We just can't get a break. Just found out today that our cousin Rydel got into a serious motorcycle accident today. He has a broken femur and bruised kidneys among other significant injuries. At least I got to go a friend's party tonight. As long as the bad and the good balance out I figure I'll be okay

Rydel now has water on his lungs and has been moved to ICU.

Just wait, it gets better (<=Sarcasm). He has now lost enough blood that he is requiring a blood transfusion and they are very worried about him getting pneumonia on top of everything else. His condition has not gotten better throughout the day.

Finally, some good news. Rydel's condition has stabilized and he is now awake and reasonably alert. He has pneumonia now, but he's slowly getting better regardless.

Happy birthday!

You and those around you do seem to be having a rough time lately, well done for hanging in there and staying sane! Wow... 15..... I remember being 15, it was pretty good as I recall! :)

I haven't been around here for while since we've been moving, and it seems now I only come on for free therapy. Do you recall Lisa from my previous posts? Her son was killed in a car accident sometime today or yesterday, and I just got the news from my sister. In one year, the following has happened to this one family:

Lisa's mom has almost died of cancer
Lisa's dad has died of cancer
Lisa's son has died four days before Thanksgiving.

And the year isn't even over yet. What do you have to be thankful for? All I can think of is at least a meteorite hasn't struck and killed her entire family, only some of it.

I have not yet drawn her picture. We have moved to our new home so I have not been able to sit down and draw except pretty much on the run or in school, and I can't take a big piece of paper with me there very easily. To say the least, I am drawing this week. Lisa needs it. All of her family needs something right now.

Happy Thanksgiving

boy, when it rains it pours sometimes. I wish there was some gem of wisdom I could share, or some inspirational thing I knew to say that would help, but I am coming up blank. Except to say, your a good friend for being so concerned and empathetic to this family's hardships this year.

You come and get as much support from here as you want - any time!

I was thinking about you just the other day, wondering how you were and how the move had gone, I am so sorry to hear you have had more bad news.

You really are a good friend as Jacksdad says, to be so thoughtful and concerned for your friends. Cyber hugs for you!
