Why CM is Yesterday's Dog Trainer

Post by dontpugme »

Wasn't sure whether to post this or not....(emms, feel free to remove if I shouldn't)

This was a really good video by Zak George about why Mr. Voldemort here is yesterday's Dog Trainer.

There's quite heated showdown in the comments section.

Its fine - try to keep the guys name out of it - hes just a guy, its the METHODS we don't like (use initials if you must, that way it doesnt attract trolls or appear in searches for his full name!).

LOVE zak george though, id love to meet him but you KNOW id make an UTTER fool of myself!

Chay - were you hiding behind me when I met Ian Dunbar??

Honestly, when I meet someone even remotely famous, I just turn into a dribbling idiot, I make Homer Simpson look smart, eloquent and clever... it's bad, it really is!

I have to agree with Zak that one has to understand their dog(s) and that anyone who uses dominant or "Alpha Dog" training methods to train their dogs is not only out of date but a bully too, and that would make me think that anyone who "bullies" their dog that there is something wrong with them or they're insecured about something.

Every time someone mentions CM, all I can think of is the South Park spoof on him. Funny funny episode!

Dish Network is showing the NatGeo channel all month as some promo thing, so I had a chance to watch the Dog Whisperer. Even allowing for the fact that I was biased, I honestly cannot understand what is so great about this guy. :?: :?: He didn't really explain why he was doing what he was doing, and the whole-goose-the-dog move looked totally pointless.
