Help with my pup

Post by rethenut »

Hello everyone!

I live in a small garden apartment. My upstairs neighbours are VERY noisy. They stomp around constantly. My mini poodle is very nervous when they are making all this noise. He runs and hides under the bed any time he hears them making noise. My vet suggested a herb treatment but I'm not sure its working. Any one have any suggestions?

Thanks!

I'd have a radio on low set to a classical music station, and make sure the dog has plenty of exercise and some fun fulfilling things to do at home (such as those in our pinned Exercise the Mind thread). There are lots of different herbal helpers to try, so ask your vet about alternatives, and check out the Bach site for information also. Check out Thundershirts too.

Each time there is a racket, do some fun things with your dog to rewire her mind to thinking their noise=something good for ME.

I feel your pain. Noisy upstairs neighbours are the pits.

I wish it were possible to do something fun when they were making noise, but I work from home and the noise is almost constant. What other suggestions do you have?
