problem jack russel mix. [ driving us insane]

First Is the show taking any submissions at the moment?

We have an old jack russel mix called jessie and in the last few months or so ,she has become a big nightmare with always peeing in the kitchen. We are constantly cleaning it up,shes been tested for everything and the vet said it was beahvioural.its driving a rift in our family , we are arguing over her,mom wants to take her to the rspca,my brother dont, I dont care ethier way,but, im starting to resent jessie.she did it apparently when mom first got her, she is a rescue dog that came from a home of abuse.she stopped and is now starting again, she always really does in the kitchen mostly. could it be the 2 additional dogs? mom got a ridgeback male puppy who is also a pain with his marking,mom will not castrate him as he is a stud dog. the other dog is mine a small chihuahua. its so puzzling,could you offer some advice?

Go back to basics and retrain her but you won't be very successful until the dog stops marking, that needs stopping as well.

Don't use normal household cleaners to clean up with, dogs can still smell the urine, use biological washing liquid or powder, white vinegar or get something from the pet shop.

She will also be picking up on the stress in your house which will make the problem worse.

If she goes back to the RSPCA they my pts her because of her age and the problem but these problems can be sorted with lots of patience and a calm environment.

The lasy day or two.shes started pooing as well, shes nutty,but ill give the washing thing a go,the big dog duke doesnt mark in the kitchen,just the lounge,its moms dog,he is doing it alot less than he used too,so ill give him that,his only problem is the bisterousness,he can be a bit rough and tumble,he doesnt mean to hurt when he play nips but he does,we have tried yelping etc.. the bigger problem is jessie so I havent bothered mentioning duke too much, ill give it a go. ill let you all know.

Jessie is too old to be pestered by a boistrous dog, he should be stopped from doing this. I have a mix of very young boistrous dogs and 15 year old very small dog. I do not allow my younsters to annoy, pester, barge etc my old lady.

If you do decide to rehome her, contact The Oldies Club, they will make sure she has a lovely, happy life.

She isn't nutty, she is a very distressed dog and it is every owner's duty to make sure their dog is happy and safe.

Ooops sorry I meant the giant dog is boiseterous with us humans.sorry for the confusion. Yeah mom sadly is adamant she will be not taking her with her in september.Its not my fault or responsibity its her dog, im just staying with her for a little while until I get my own place.

I really dont want to hear what owners should be doing blah blah as shes nothing to do with me,no offfence. I just posted for tips and advice on how to combat the pee,its annoying for me.

ill look into the oldies club for her.

I wasn't aiming at you but as she is your mother's dog, you mother should take responsiblity for her and make sure that all her needs are met which are not at the moment.

I do agree .I contacted the oldies club and left jessies profile with them. Ill let you all know.
