Puppy's Playing

Post by Bingles »

Sorry for bombarding this forum questions but I have been talking to a friend of mine and she has paniced me a bit.

My puppy as I have said is 9 weeks old and has one jab and is getting her other in a week. Earlier today my sis in law came round and brought her 4 month old puppy round to play she has had both her jabs.

No my friend was saying I should not have let them meet or play as they ould have diseases. Should I be worried or is she just scare moungering ? She knows how nervy I have been.

your puppy has had one jap and the other has had two japs and I take it they only played in yor house and maybe the garden , you did not take your dog out by foot into the street or along the road .. Then your pup should be fine ... No need to worry ...

once your puppy has had its 2nd gap at about 12/14 weeks and you are able to take it out for walks , thats when all the fun begins , just enjoy your puppy and take each day as it comes .. Do you plan to take your puppy to training classes , the puppies do benefit from them , and you will learn alot from the other owers too !!!

i don't know if there are any close to me. I am going to try and start training her over the next few days using the methods in the book and see how i get on. I have to say the people on here are very helpfull so if the owners at training class are anything to go by it might be a good idea

You can take your pup out but will need to carry her, most put their pups into a bag, duffle bag is a good one to use.

This is a very important period for socialising your pup if they don't go out they can't be socialised. You can take her to a lot of places and meet lots of people and will give her a good start.

I don't bother to keep my dogs in when being vaccinated, more dogs are pts because of aggression due to lack of socialiasing thank one of the deseases that we vaccinate for.

People with dogs also get pups, they can't keep the pup seperate from their other dogs, it won't do any of them any good.
