No thank you, Rupert would be forever nudging them to make them make a noise and drive me to distraction. I suppose if I couldn't see the back door from where I sit they may be handy but I still think he'd be a pain in the arse with them

I taught my doxie to ring bells to go out - they do work, but he also uses the bells to ask for attention. It feels like I am a darn butler some days - ring ring, I need out... ring ring, play with me...ring ring CHASE ME!!

I have a love hate with the bells right now!! He does us them to tell us he has to go out, it is just trying to squelch the bell abuse that I am working on now!

So, if it wasn't bad enough that the dog is abusing the bell - tonight one of cats learned how to ring it too!!
