Family Dog Shot and Killed

I wanted to share this story with you and hear what you have to say. I have to tell you that this is disturbing news and it's happening in my area too.

That is tragic. My boyfriend's dog was poisoned--presumably so the person could come back and rob the house sans doggie interference. Terrible people are out there...

My thoughts when I saw this in the news was "Oh my God, how can anyone be so cruel?" I can't get over the fact that this dog was on its owner's property and was not a threat to anyone! Of course, the person who did this isn't going to stand up and say without facing charges and jail time, along with fines, either.
