Mr Merlin's ear is no better, so he probably has something stuck in it. That was our first thought anyway since he likes to slide around along the grass like a weirdo and it was a sudden 'eww my ear' rather than a gradual one. Plus there is no smell whatsoever. Unfortunately this means back to the vets, and the vet said that next time he'll need to be sedated. He never tried to bite her or us, but he will give a go at snapping at equipment which isn't good! So, I've ordered him a basket muzzle just incase.
On the bright side I'll ask for a cheeky blood test whilst he's Mr Sleepy just to ease any worries about his recent laziness and increased reactivity. He barked at a woman across the road the other day and got SO worked up that when we got in he just turned around and leapt up at James, biting his jeans. It was frustration mixed with zoomies, he wanted James to chase him, but he knows that mouthing to start the game is not allowed which means his brain had taken a total vacation. He's also jumping up at me more whilst on a lead even when he's not seen anything that would frustrate him. I am basically playing tug the entire on lead walk at the moment because if I didn't he would be humping my leg or nipping my bum.

He's also getting back into swimming!! When I put him in that paddling pool he decided that swimming was the devil's work. Slowly we've been encouraging him to take a dip (mainly in preparation for summer) and now he's a regular spaniel!
