It's a victoria article that i saw posted on facebook but i wanted to share it here to. So many times I cried because i just wanted a nice 'normal' dog. This article made me feel so much better. (and inspired me to dole out some extra zucchini slices to my not so normal dog)
I feel like so many people who come to this board just need a reminder that no matter how crazy their dog may seem they shouldn't compare to other 'normal' dogs.

Halleluja to that I'm another who has shed tears over my dog's issues but the day I decided to stop working on what could easily be managed and to accept him and enjoy him for what he was was a real turning point.
He's a 'special needs' dog and always will be. If people think I'm overprotective or ruled by him because I won't leave him in someone's care and can't go out if it clashes with his walk time, tough.
