"Knuckled Over" or why she wears shoes when walking around the block. This is one of the many signs of DM. You can also see how worn her toenails are on those middle 2 toes on the non turned over paw.



Certainly our walk around the beach was much shorter than it has been in the past...only about 1/10 of what we used to do, but she had such a great time. Looking at her pics would you believe she is nearly 12? I just hope our continued care helps keep her happy and walking for another year. She is a real treasure.
