Weetabix puppy

Post by tigger449 »

Hi there,

I'm collecting a Jack Russell puppy soon and the breeder has told me that she has been giving the puppies a 'breakfast' of weetabix and milk! I've never given any of my dogs milk and have always understood that puppies can't digest it. Should I continue this 'breakfast' when the puppy come home or stop?

I'd value other people's advice!

I'm not an expert, but I certainly wouldn't! How old is the pup, and what do you plan to feed her eventually?

No, none of it will do your puppy any good.

I'd also run far away from that breeder.
