Teeth

Post by forkin14 »

So I was looking at Cadence's mouth and I feel as if I'm seeing new teeth, or at least teeth that are a lot bigger than what I remember! Also, it looks like some teeth are smaller than they should be, as if they are just growing.

When do the adult teeth fully set in?

Milk teeth are usually gone by 6 months but adult teeth grow on for quite some months after they erupt. I was admiring my pup's (19 months - nearly grown up!) canines the other day and marvelling at how much more tooth has come out of the gum since she first cut them and I thought oh dear they're rather small

That's the second chew period! All should be finished by 2 years old.

cadence will be two years old on october so I guess that's why I'm noticing more teeth. maybe that's why she's getting a bit more mouthier
