unhealty eating!

Hi,

im helping my sister look after her 11 week old chocolate labrador.
however she does have some strange eating habbits and it can be worrying.
She will try and eat anything from stones, flowers, tissue and most recently and embarssingly sanatary towels....
We are rather worried as she managed to swollow one after desparate efforts to prize it from her... (no adverse effects as of yet)..
any adivice on how to stop or prevent these eating habbits is very welcome!

She's a puppy, and puppies do these things. You need to "puppy proof" your house. Close doors (so she can't get to bathroom trash cans), remove things from easily accessible areas, give her lots of great things to chew on (that are appropriate). If you're outside, you need to keep her leashed and keep an eye on where she's going so you can steer her away from things like rocks and sticks and flowers.
