She had seizures all day which were totally different to what she normally doen and they tried her with vallium but it wasnt working. Im absolutely devestated, my son and I were with her when she went to sleep, she was such a special dog I just hope she is at rest now xxxx

I am so sorry, it is so hard to let them go but you made the right decision for Bonita, you put her first and not yourselves, that means a lot to Bonita, you didn't let her suffer.

I have been through this 3 times in 6 months, Emmabeth has recently lost one of her's as well as others on here, our thoughts go out to you.

Just stumbled across this while looking at what health checks were advised for Staffies for somebody and I immediately thought of this post.

Change vet's it does appear like a mild seizure. but can't say for sure my previous dog had grand mal seziures and was put on phenobarbitol then potassium bromide. It helped a lot.

It would help if you read teh whole thread GllntKnight - sadly this dog had to be put to sleep last month due to uncontrollable seizures.
