How my two jokers get exercised at times

Post by DawnStorm »

I like to garden, and around here (MD) the best times are not only the spring months, but also September and October. First I fill up the dogs' water bucket, put it in a shady place and then go about my gardening. While I work, Bruce and Flanders are running and rassling, and barking at passers by and traffic. When I need a break, I'll toss the jolly ball for them. At the end of the day, we're all tired, and after the dogs are fed, they will collapse. The next day, weather and personal energy level permitting, we'll do it all over again.
They get exercise year-round of course, but spending all day in the yard running, rassling, chasing each other, etc is good for both body and soul.
My current crew:
Bruce the Albino Dobe; Flanders the Belgian Malinut; Leela, Scuttlebutt, and Felix, da kitties.
All much-loved but not spoiled!
