My dog has been sick. I took her to the vet today and she has tonsilitis. I want to freeze some yogurt I have. It is strawberry yogurt and peach yogurt. Is it ok to give it to her? I want to soothe her sore throat
Thanks for any help.

Really that should be fine - most dogs have the lactose intolerance I believe but in terms of temporary soothing, I think this is fine.
You can also try some honey smeared into a kong.

No, not flavoured yoghurt with added colourings and sweeteners, especially artificial sweeteners. These are very very bad for dogs. Not so good for us either.
Plain live bio yoghurt is good for dogs and may be fed safely.

sorry - I didn't pick that bit up. I presumed also that it would have been natural strawberry and natural peach in the yoghurt but yes, if in doubt, natural yoghurt is best!

It's shocking how much bad stuff is in some flavoured yoghurts we don't realise unless we are read-the-ingredients nerds like me

If you're really just trying to soothe her throat, you could offer her a popsicle, or make your own if you're worried about the artificial stuff in store-bought sweets.
My dogs have always loved a frozen treat from time to time.
