Regarding dry food, sometimes all it takes is moistening it or adding something else to get a dog interested. For my pug max, he is on nutro small breed adult chicken and brown rice. I mix together a fourth of a cup of kibble, half of it as is, half moistened, chopped carrots, and sometimes chicken or cheese.

I just ordered a copy online ...thanks for the recommendation!

Also, think about changing his food. That is really low quality stuff you're giving him and might contribute to his behavior.
Is there a thread that discusses/recommends brands of dog food? I was going to start one - but I don't want to 're-invent the wheel" ... lol.

Are you transitioning to the new food correctly? 90% old food, 10% new food for a few days, then 75% to 25% for a few days, 50-50 for a few days, 25-75 for a few days, etc. It should take 7-14 days of mixing the two foods for you to make the switch completely.
