A good harness.

Post by tarabee16 »

I'm trying to find a good harness for my 6 month old Coton De Tulear.
I found this one:

is that a good one or not?? If not could someone give me a link to a good one that won't rub her legs when she walks?
Thanks.

It should be pretty good. I'm not sure because I don't buy those.

Comfort wrap

Post by joji732 »

I don't know about that - the belly band appears to sit right behind the front legs, which could cause chafing. Of course, if you will only have it on for walks, that shouldn't be a major issue, but if you intend to leave it on all day (or all the time) that's another story.

Personally, I use the Comfort Wrap harness for Rusty. It provides better control and doesn't allow for as much pulling as the other style. You can see it here:

Even so, I take it off every time we get back from a walk. He can be a little bugger - he's chewed through 3 harnesses when I forgot to take them off!
