New here and need some help on a collar

Hi...we have a five year old Golden Retriever and we are trying to get him to walk loose lead. What collar would you suggest to help us with him? Thanks so much.

I teach a dog to walk on a loose lease with a harness on, I don't like walking my dogs on collars because several have neck problems caused by their previous owners bad training.

There is a sticky thread on teaching a dog to walk on a loose lead in Methods, well worth reading through.
