Bulldog unhappy with walks

Post by Tracy »

Hello everyone,
I am currently working with a client that has a 7 month old bulldog that is not happy about a taking walks. I have identified that the harness is something she doesn't like and we are working on making that less stressful. When it comes to taking a walk, she sits and she won't budge. She is not treat motivated.

Anyone else have experience with this issue?

Yes. :) How about you re-post in the 'training' section where you will get more viewings? I will answer you there and others will come and help also. We need lots more detail to include how long she has had the dog, any health issues, what it is fed and when, what training it has had if any, a rundown of a typical day, what other animals are in the household, is there a back yard or does the dog have to go outside into the street every time, is it town or country, what does the dog like to do best - no detail too small.
A dog is never bad or naughty - it is simply being a dog
