Smart Dog Toys & Puzzles

Post by RedHughes »

I'm attempting to find my puppy new challenges. I found one feed in the forums (viewtopic.php?f=5&t=12607), but the suggestions were sparse so I was hoping to start a feed of just toys, games, and puzzles to stimulate our puppies. Please include links if you can. So far I've found this one:

Thanks!

We have a very extensive thread called Exercise the Mind in the Health, Diet, and Exercise section of the forum: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1135

Don't really like some of the suggestions on that site (ie the laser and flashy light stuff) but I think the interactive toys are great. :)

There are LOADS! Nina Ottoson toys (http://www.nina-ottosson.com/), kongs, Kong Wobbler, Dog Pyramid, treat balls in general, treats wrapped up in paper inside a cardboard box or tube etc.

Clicker training and using this to teach your pup 'tricks' (for want of a better word) is a good way to stimulate the brain.
