Ankle Biter

Post by brandypup »

Ihave a 1yr old chihuahua (rescued/neutered) who likes to get my toes and ankles in the morning and sometimes coming home after work.

Anything I can do? He has a good sit and I try that sometimes it works to get him to stop sometimes it just slows him down.

Thanks,

After you put him in a sit give him a toy, ball or something to chew to distract him. Or you can also just pick him up place him in a time out area like a bathroom for 10 sec or so. Do not speak, make it swift. Let him out. You may need to do over 100 x before he gets it biting feet= removed from my human. you will get frustrated b/c it will seem like its not wrking but keep at it. It does work but u must be patient, very patient. GOOD LUCK!
