My biggies are indoor/outdoor pups. During the day when we're at work and the weather's nice they hang out outside because I want them crated as little as possible. Personally I find the only smell they have is sunshine. Yes, I swear my dogs' coats smell like sunshine. I love that smell and I'll bury me face in their fur to smell it.

I also haven't been feeding them raw because we've had the puppies other financial hardships going on and really couldn't afford it. And as awful as I feel, they were eating a variety of dog food that wasn't as great a quality as we used to feed them because we just couldn't afford it and they never smelled.

Thanks heaps for all the advice!

I will brush her more often. Dad used to brush her every evening however that has stopped. Not sure why. So I will try to brush her every day.
