I have to go out of town. A friend of mine with a one year old lab/rotie mix has volunteered to keep my 16 week old OES. Her dog and my puppy get along great-rambunctious but great. We went to dinner over the weekend at my friends house and the dogs did great together. This week I am going to take my puppy to her house on Monday and leave and return after an hour. Then on Wed for two hours. Then Friday I leave out of town.
Is there anything else you would do to prepare my puppy for a good visit at my friend's house without MOM
(I'm already feeling very blue about leaving her
but I'm not letting her know that
)
One issue I'm concerned about is that my puppy is teething. And her older dog steels all the toys
After a while the older dog shares the toys a bit
But I'm concerned she won't have what she needs to relieve her pain
