Plants

Post by Shalista » Fri Mar 30, 2018 4:43 am

probably a really quick question that i have a sinking feeling i already know the answer to.

is there any way to prevent bax from eating my potted plants like a FREAKING CAT other than just moving the plants to higher ground?

Yes, I think you know the answer  I'm sure you have, but do make sure none are poisonous.

Ooh, how about a terrarium?

I've read that you can spray plants with various substances to stop dogs eating them but don't think it would be a good idea as to Bax, the whole flat would probably stink of it.

Cacti?

I had a cat that kept trying to eat the Cacti. It hurt him everytime he bit it. He still tried.

Yeah, and Bax being a terrier - or rather Bax being Bax - it would be him or the cactus in a fight to the death!

 MInd you, DS2 once lost a battle with a cactus in the garden centre and swore after that all he'd done was walk past it... The staff gave me sellotape to put on his hands to try to get all the prickles out.
