puppy wont stay still for photos

I promised photos but am finding it hard to keep him still every time I take a photo he keeps moving and I end up with just his tail or bottom . what can I do to get him to stay still?

other than that he is great and the scratching on the sofa has stopped

Wait until he's asleep or eating. I can't say "use a faster film" now that we are all using digicams.

Forget about getting him to pose for now. Teach him 'wait' and/or 'watch' and in the fullness of time, he'll develop enough maturity to hold the pose even when you point a camera at him.
