How to get a dog used to baths?

Our Shar Pei (nearly 2 yrs old) has many allergic skin problems, is now beginning to see a dermatologist. First visit less than a week ago. Diagnosed with dermatitis, and food allergies. I have used cleansing wipes on her, now he says that is not good enough, she needs to be bathed every 2 weeks. She is active and strong, me and my husband are not. Had a really bad grooming experience once with another dog, so I am hesitant to bring her anywhere. Any suggestions to get her used to bathing much appreciated
