I walk my 2 big girl chihuahuas daily, but I just wonder how much is to much daily walking. They 2 girls are spayed chihuahuas. Hershey is my biggest gal, and Fox is right behind her in weight. Hershey walks 2 miles, while Fox is 1.5 miles, but I wonder if this is to much exercise daily for them. As for me, they walking is great for me and my multiple sclerosis. It seems they both come home, and are sleeping for they rest of day after the walks.

Dogs need much more exercise than many people realise - they are designed to keep on the move for long distances, even little dogs like yours, and then sleep.
As they are eager for their walks and sleep afterwards, you have the recipe correct - well done you!
