I get the newsletter from Just Say Yes and recently this landed in my email box:
Happy Saint Paddy Everyone!
As many of you may know last summer I ran my first on-line training class. I thought it was great success but I guess I really didn't realize the full impact of this e-course until just this week.
Over the month long "5 Minutes to Recall Brilliance" e-course we developed a real community amongst the participants. It was one of the many unexpected bonuses of teaching within this format. Last week I touched base with all of my "Recallers" to ask them if they would let me (and others) know how they felt this e-course impacted their dog training.
Almost 200 people posted videos on my Facebook page sharing their feelings. How cool is that? I was blown away. The course did what I have been dreaming would be possible. It allowed me to become a coach to dog owners all over the world, all at THE SAME time.
The heartfelt stories that were told in these videos had me laughing one minute and crying the next. The essence of them was summed up perfectly by one recaller, Mary Ann Eustis, who when speaking of her relationship with her dog said;
"We had anxiety but (through this course) we found joy"
So now I am asking for help from each of you. It was incredible difficult but I picked my favourite 15 videos from all of the ones submitted. I am posting five videos on my blog every day for the next three days. I really need your help to pick the five best (yes I am taking the pressure off myself having to be the judge:)). The videos are all less than 3 minutes long and I know you are going to be as blow away as I was by them.
Each of these five winners will be awarded a prize of a free entry into my next on line project so there is little pressure, I don't want to make these decisions on my own so I would love your help.
Thanks in advance everyone for pitching in and lending me a hand. The link to my blog is http://wp.me/pyy8f-1FQ
Happy training everyone!

The videos are great to watch and you can also sign up to receive notice when the next course starts up. I did that and then today I got this email:
Happy Spring everyone! (or Happy Autumn depending upon where you are living).
To welcome in an exciting Spring 2011 I have an awesome surprise for each of you. Over the next week I am going to be posting a series of three webinars absolutely free of charge. The content is something I put together for a possible future puppy training DVD but I am giving you all a peak at it right now --just for a week.
With so much buzz around the recent Recaller videos I have been getting a lot of people asking me how can they change their own dog's behaviour . . . like NOW!
These three webinars will give you some great insights and solutions to start immediately -- and trust me this isn't just about getting your dog to come when called! As today's session will show you, it is about EVERYTHING in dog training!
All you have to do is go to click on or cut and paste this link into your browser http://the5minuteformula.com/recallers.html
Once you get there you will have to sign in not a big deal really but we need to control who has access to these webinars.
You enter your name and email address then go and check your inbox. An email will be sent to you -- click on that to confirm it really was you that wanted in to see the webinar and you will be autmatically re-directed. Come back as often as you like, you will only ever have to sign in once.
I would love to hear what you have to say about the first webinar entitled: Evaluating Your Recall: What is R-E-A-L-L-Y Broken. So click the link and let me know!
Happy Training Everyone

PS I know what a pain in the butt it is to sign up again, but trust me it will be sooo worth your effort!
I plan on participating and thought I'd share this for anyone else that might be interested.
