Hmm, I've never noticed this thread here. But I do like to talk about myself--actually, I just like to talk (or write) in general--so I'll add my information too.
My name is Emily, I'm 26, and live with my husband and my 1 1/2 year-old Samoyed, Emma Georgiana, in Virginia. I just finished grad school for history and have lived in England briefly (in Oxford) and grew up in Germany (in Berlin and later near Munich). I named Emma after Jane Austen's novel (her middle name is from the Duchess of Devonshire...admittedly, I'm an Anglophile).
Oh, and having a dog has made me realize how little I know about dogs, but I'm learning. I especially love learning about dog nutrition, so I visit that forum most often.
