I'm Jo, owner and food supply to my 1 year old Beagle.

I discovered positive dog training when attempting to help her with her extreme shyness with people. It's very much a work in progress, but from the very first day (when we had a trainer come here and work with us), I have found it made us happier and more relaxed - that goes for the humans and the dog.
It's been great to see her blossom into a much more playful, funny pup.

Some of the changes have been in getting her to be a little calmer around people, and some has been us accepting that she doesn't have to be some mythical perfect dog - we can just enjoy her how she is and work with what we have.
