Anyway, my name is Erika and I have lived in Central Florida for 16 years now. I have always had animals in my life (dogs, cats, horses, chickens). I currently have three furbabies. My eldest is a 13 yr old female Beagle. My middle child is an 8 yr old male chihuahua cross. At the end of June I had to say good-bye to my best friend for the past 15 years. She was what I likef to call a "Heinz 57 all-American mutt", though the vet once classified her as a Caanan Dog. About a month after her passing, I began to feel guilty that I had a space in my house that I could be using to save another dog. So, I found myself at my county`s animal control rescuing a 2 (?) year old female foxhound. It is this dog that brings me here lookong for help, which I will discuss elsewhere.
