My name is Baska and I'm from Poland.
I've decided to join your forum after I took a wonderful dog from an animal shelter. Although he is wonderful (his name is Latek), he's got some issues.
I barely know his past...there's one thing I know for sure, he came back to the shelter from an unsuccessful adoption (the reason given was that he does not obey- which was a lie certainly. Up till now I had no problems with my dog...but, this story will be posted not in the "hi section":)

Hi Baska! Welcome to the forum. You are in the right place!

I did read your post regarding your dog's fear, but as I'm not an expert I won't chip in. I will say though that as you are clearly motivated to help your dog, I am sure that with a little patience, consistency and love your dog will make progress. Even if his fear is too great to overcome, you can learn ways to manage him so that the fear doesn't rule his life and you can have a happy time together
