Hi Leona! It's not hugely uncommon for dogs to be scared of men, especially rescues who have had goodness knows what happen to them and are not yet relaxed in a new home (it can take months and months before you get to see the real dog :D ).

In order to help us can you give us a run down of the dog's typical day, from when he wakes up to when he goes to bed. What exercise and training he has, what food he eats, who else (two and four legged) lives in the house.

Can you also describe a little more what happens when he attacks your husband and what, if anything, you have done so far to try to fix it.

Lots of detail please :D
