whining and barking

Hi, I'm new on here, so bear with me. I have a 7 months old yellow labrador. He has a fantastic nature and is very lovable. The only problem I have is he whines frequently, which after a while, turns into barking. I think he is just needy, wanting attention. He is the fifth lab I've had, so I'm quite used to them, but he's the first to have this problem. I have tried different things, but nothing has worked up to now. I have two other dogs and they all get on well together. Any ideas, anyone? Thanks. Emmarose

If you haven't already, you should post in the Dog Training Advice section of the forum. You will get more help there.

Make sure you include his normal daily routine and also all the methods you've tried.
