Hi everyone,
I've already gotten some advice as a newbie in the dog training section, but I thought I should introduce myself as well (a bit rude really! ). I'm Lou, I live in Berks UK with my husband, son, cat, dog and gerbils. We're originally from Sydney, Aus, moved here just under 2 years ago.
My gorgeous dog is Murphy, a rescue boy though they think he's Staff x American Bulldog. He's white with a few brindle spots and a brindle patch on his left eye. We've had him for about 7 months, and he's about 10 months old. He's a fast learner, pretty clever and VERY stubborn! The advice I received from the forum over this past weekend has been invaluable, he's notably calmer even today.
I'm a dog walker/pet sitter for work and LOVE it. I've not had any problems training any of the dogs I walk, so I think I was a bit too emotionally attached to think clearly for my boy. Never mind, back on track now.
Thats about it, I'm sure I'll be back looking for more advice
Lou
