at 11 weeks, the day we brought him home
at 4 months
This is his favorite pass time - stalking and terrorizing the cats (he is lap stalking here, must have been a lazy day!)
him behind me on the couch sleeping, taken about a week ago (he loves to crawl behind me and snuggle up for nap time)
ETA: I had to add one more, this one cracks me up! He was sooooo out!

Re: Monkey, the doxie with moxie
Thanks everyone! I actually went to see a younger pup but he stole my heart when I saw him and his markings! He is a character and he can make anyone stop in their tracks with his looks. I am still getting used to that in fact, being a person that keeps to herself, I find it disconcerting at times to be approached when I am out and about. It's all good though, and he is very friendly with both ppl and dogs. Too friendly for some dogs though, he gets up in their business - he greets fine, but then lingers a bit long for some dogs to handle.
For a doxie, he is not much of a burrower with his blanket, but he loves to squeeze beside or behind me on the couch, making his own little space!

Re: Monkey, the doxie with moxie
thanks Melissa and Hydey! I don't think you can see it in the pics, but his stripe goes all the way down his back like a line and the colors switch, at certain angles, he almost looks like a checkerboard. A checkerboard that a 6yr drew but still!
you can sort of see it this pic, when he is straight, the line goes right down the center. (pic from the day we brought him home, he looks very worried!!)
